Barrister Tanha Zarrin Ahmed, LLB (UK) LLM (UK)
After completion of Bar Vocational Course (BVC) from BPP law school, Tanha trained and qualified as a lawyer at Dr Kamal Hossain & Associates (KH&A) in Dhaka. Whilst at KH&A, which is ranked Tier 1 for Dispute Resolution by Chambers & Partners, and is described as having a “stellar reputation”, she focused primarily on international commercial arbitration, company formation and dispute resolution. After she moved to London, she was involved in a number of high profile legal works which mainly focused on financial institutions. She worked as an associate in one of largest insurance brokerage law firm in London. Before moving to Mahfel Huq &Co Tanha worked in Financial Conduct Authority (FCA) in the UK focusing primarily on LIBOR fixings by various financial institutions.
Tanha received her LLB from the University of Southampton, and was awarded a distinction in her Masters in Law from SOAS under University of London.
Her specializations include all aspects of corporate and legal affairs and commercial arbitration.
